DIGITAL VOICE STRESS ANALYZER (DVSA) |
|
BAKER GROUP - BAKER DVSA We provide state-of-the-art software for installation on your existing desktop or laptop computers. There is no need to spend addition al resources or pay higher prices for laptops. XP operating systems are recommended. Over 1500 law enforcement agencies in the US effectively use various VSA systems. It is believed that there are more than 15000 VSA systems in use worldwide. U.S. Department of Defense uses VSA technology in the war on terrorism. BAKER-DVSA is not limited to traditional Forensic Psychophysiological Detection of Deception techniques of polygraph and other voice stress analys is instruments. DVSA, like polygraph, when used for the purpose of “detection of deception”, is limited by definition to face-to-face examiner / examinee interaction, with the examiner restricted to utilizing specifically designed and implemented test protocols and exacting analysis requirements. Unlike polygraph however, DVSA does not require attachments of invasive and at times uncomfortable body sensors that tend to create unnatural stress. Since the voice micro-tremor is governed by the central nervous system and is graphically displayed “real time” by DVSA, and instantly reacts to the psychological stimuli (the question) and instantly recovers to that stimuli, tests are not limited to 8-12 questions as in traditional polygraph instrumentation. Waiting for polygraph-type physiologic reaction and for breathing, pulse / blood pressure homeostasis to occur is not required. DVSA tests may be conducted “real time” as in polygraph, may be audio tape recorded for subsequent charting, analysis, and archival purposes, or both. DVSA has no known countermeasures – it is not affected by drugs, alcohol, or cognitive techniques. The DVSA System’s capabilities far exceed those of mechanical, electronic, and computerized polygraph systems. For purposes of detection of deception the Baker - DVSA measures and graphically displays twelve physiological functions as compared to three with the polygraph. These physiological phenomena of the human vocal utterance, utilizing VSA, display absolute stress at the instant of utterance as well as relative stress when compared to other derived voice signatures in speech or non-speech human sounds. Seventeen separate and unique audiographic signature patterns are identifiable and quantifiable. Thus, providing the examiner the ability to determine absolute stress at instant of utterance and relative or comparative degrees of psychophysiological stress. Additionally, each of the 12 phenomena may be displayed in over 15 different modes or samplings permitting in-depth study and analysis. Each pattern display may be enlarged up to 400% for additional close inspection and close analysis. Polygraph instruments depend on 80 year-old technology and only display three physiological actions; breathing, pulse as related to blood pressure, and galvanic skin response. These physiological responses are graphically displayed on a moving chart and only indicate relative stress when compared to other answers. Polygraph cannot be utilized in multi-word analysis, cannot be used covertly, and is highly susceptible to countermeasures. PRICE: $9995.00 for software and license. Price includes training for two examiners conducted at your location without added costs. Additional examiner tuition is $1250 for 5 day course. Save your resources by using your existing computers. No travel or billeting costs for training. Annual re-certification training, $300 per examiner |
